1) Community Guidelines: What’s Allowed

• Critique ideas, not people: no personal attacks, threats, or harassment.
• Lawful and safe: no illegal content or behavior.

2) Prohibited Content & Conduct

• Hate speech, harassment, stalking, doxxing, or credible threats;
• Illegal content or solicitation of illegal acts; incitement to violence;
• Intellectual-property infringement (copyright, trademark), or facilitating infringement;
• Spam, scams, astroturfing, or deceptive/manipulated media;
• Malware, exploits, or attempts to probe or bypass security;
• Impersonation or misrepresentation of identity or affiliation;
• Posting others’ personal information without consent;
• Obscene or sexually explicit content involving minors (zero tolerance).

3) Posting Expectations

• Stay on topic. Add value. Link to sources when making factual claims.
• Use a consistent display name; disclose material conflicts (e.g., employer/vendor ties) when relevant.
• Do not post private communications without consent.

4) Moderation & Enforcement

We moderate to protect users and the Site. Actions may include:

• Content edits or removals;
• Warnings or feature restrictions;
• Temporary suspensions;
• Permanent bans for severe or repeated violations.

Our discretion: We may act without prior notice where risk is high (e.g., threats, illegal content, security issues). We prefer to resolve issues informally but will defend our rights and the safety of our users, including by seeking legal and equitable remedies if needed.

5) Ownership & License to Host

You own your UGC. By posting it on the Site, you grant Binary Rogue a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute your UGC on and through the Site for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the service. This license ends when you remove your UGC from the Site, subject to reasonable archival, backup, and caching.

6) Age & Sensitive Areas

The Site is for users aged 13+. Some sections may discuss complex technical, legal, or economic topics; use judgment and follow the law.

7) Intellectual Property & Takedowns

Respect IP. If you believe content infringes your copyright, see our DMCA Takedown Policy. We remove or restrict access to content when required and may limit repeat infringers.

8) Reporting Violations

Report violations to Contact@binaryrogue.com. Include URLs, screenshots, and a brief description.

9) Appeals

If you believe we made a moderation mistake, email Contact@binaryrogue.com within 14 days. We review appeals in good faith and issue a final decision at our discretion.

10) Changes

We may update these Guidelines. The Effective date above will reflect the latest version.
